Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

Looking for a sbc aluminum intake manifold with the oil filler tube in it.
Willing to buy or trade for similiar intake without filler tube, or set of new pistons on reconditioned rods.

Please post pic and price including shipping to 08753.

Thanks

Are you looking for original or any aluminum sbc intake with filler. Not mine but looks good.

Re: Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

I have a manifold like the one shown on Craigslist I want $75 for.It still has the knockout in it,but can be removed. I bought it for my 327 but am going a different route (dual carbs).

You can still buy them new.
Edelbrock makes them.

Re: Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

I have a Edelbrock SP2P aluminum intake manifold.
These were designed for low and midrange torque motors; so if you have a high rpm motor you would not want this.
But if you are interested I can take some pics and figure out a price for you.

Re: Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

I was asking $75 here locally.
I will charge what shipping actually costs me.
I checked 17# on USPS web site and it shows $18.36 parcel post.
So if your interested I will box it up and take it in and weigh it and get back with you on the total.

Re: Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

I remember those. That's a great choice for practical use. The one I have is more for the high rpm range.

Ron,
If ScottH ends up passing on that let me know and I'll take it off your hands. Do you still have the fill tube for it? Thanks.

Re: Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

I could be wrong, but as I recall the older manifolds would be open plenum. The SP2Ps came along as some of the first low end torque manifolds to accompany the RV cams (low end torque/hwy economy) when economy became a concern. Dual plane is newer technology.

Re: Looking for aluminum intake with oil filler tube

If the ebay one doesn't work out let me know, I have a brand new Edelbrock Performer EPS aluminum intake with the filler tube and I special ordered it from Edelbrock to add a PCV valve to the back so I could run sealed valve covers and never worry about gasket blown by. You won't find this one in any catalog or on Edelbrock's website, they drop shipped it directly to me. The only reason I'm selling it is because I ordered the exact same manifold again in black powdercoat. I will sell it for $250 shipped and I'll throw in the PCV valve and new Edelbrock gaskets
