drop spindles, and disk brakes....

I am bagging my 60 c10. My plan was to box the lower control arms, and pull the torsion bars. I'm about to buy drop spindles, but from what I can find I need to swap crossmembers, and suspension to a newer truck. I want to keep the 6 lug, and brake swap to disk shouldn't be a problem, but can I keep the stock arms? Will the torsion arm ball joints work with the drop spindles? I don't really want to have to change crossmembers, and arms, as I'm doing this on a budget.

look at www.PerformanceOnline.com
They sell a 60-62 drop spindle for $229.00.

And a disc rotor that is drilled to the 6-lug pattern.
