White Hood & or top (or silver)

Looking for two tone truck pics..
Trucks from windshield up white (or silver)
Trucks with a white hood (or silver)
best off would be a truck with a white hood and a white top (or silver)

Trying to figure out exactly what I want to do for paint and this would be a big help.. I was thinking solid blue all around, with a white top would look nice, but I have always liked the look of having a dark grey/black hood on the muscle cars. Grey truck with black hood and/or top???.. Best of both worlds?

Re: White Hood & or top (or silver)

There are many "lets see pics of this or that..." posts. In those you will see two tone trucks. Trucks with a white roof look great, I'm partial to them. It's a personal choice whether you decide to paint the top of the cab (from bottom of windows up). Here is my opinion about the hood. If you want a flat black patch on the hood or a subdued finish, you will need to keep it on the top panel of the hood. If you paint the whole hood an off color you will throw the the body lines off from the side. It will look like a nicely painted truck with a replacement hood, even if it matches the cab/roof. Here is a horrible paint shop pic. of where to keep the paint on the hood. If you paint the top of the hood you may want to consider the center line of the hood in the body color. I apologize if this is clear as mud.

I borrowed the pic from the internet, hope the pic owner doesn't mind.
