What company makes a good repro tailgate ?
I am looking for a Chevrolet tailgate with lettering. Who makes the best repro ?

My guess would be GM. You can still get them.

Tailgates were the best thing that I sold. I never had a single one returned. Goodmark was the lettered tailgate I sold. I was concerned with the weld marks on the back of the tailgates on the edges of the tailgate with lettered and nonlettered, but I bought a gm lettered tailgate that had never been on a truck and it has the same marks, not as noticable but still there. These weld marks are easy to fix. Talk with Tim C. and he will hook you up with a good tailgate at a good price.

I heard Goodmark was a good repo but BEWARE there ARE some CHEAP repos out there. I had one from the Truck Shop that was Total JUNK. I sat an empty big block on it and it BENT. I ended up buying a parts truck just for a good factoy gate. Just my 2c

BOUGHT ONE FROM LMC, AND IT SUCKED! I STEPPED UP ON IT AND IT BENT IN THE MIDDLE.
