Torque ?
Got a question about torque wrench. Which one is tighter, foot lbs or inch lbs?

Thanks. Thats exactly what I thought, I have never had to deal with inch lbs so thats why I asked.

12 inches = 1 foot... 12 inch lbs = 1 foot lb That's why your inch-lb torque wrench/rachet will likely be a 1/4" or 3/8" drive (lighter duty) and your foot-lb wrenches have a 3/8", 1/2" or larger drive. Hope that helps to understand. |

Made sense to me. I thought that was it but wanted to make sure before tightening this head up on a 280z. Thanks for the input..
