Oxygen sensor wiring

The yard I bought my engine from cut off the connector for the upstream, pass. side O2 sensor.

I got the part number from this page, 2/3 way down (http://chevythunder.com/ls1_page_1.htm) and ordered the connector and (what turned out to be the wrong) terminals from Mouser. I've got some female terminals from the connectors that I pulled from the harness, and look to be the right ones, but they don't fit. I'm at a dead end, anyone have any insight?

Local boneyards have been no help, they apparently cannot sell emission components, including the connector going to the O2 sensor

Re: Oxygen sensor wiring

Found the right connector...took looking thru a bunch of the old ones I had to find the right VARIATION of terminal (apparently there are a couple similar ones that won't fit each others type of connector) and then found most of the right colors that corresponded to the pinout...right on...

Re: Oxygen sensor wiring

you can get a wiring diagram and the generic bosch pigtail, with the matching sensor pretty easily. Many aftermarket harnesses use this setup instead of the more expensive oem parts.

Re: Oxygen sensor wiring

I thought that might be the case, because I found pigtails for most everything else that was missing in my harness, except for the right O2 sensor pigtail (they have the square ones, I needed the flat one)...the connector I bought was only $1.60

Re: Oxygen sensor wiring

do you have all the 02 sensors already tho? The oe sensor is almost double the price of other suitable units.
