New from Orlando, FL
Hey all, I've been lirking for awhile. Good stuff on here, thought I'd join the party.
My name is Ben I'm almost 30 and I have an 86 gmc shortbed that was used on a farm it's entire life until about 6months ago when I got her. I put $400 in new brakes and a carb rebuild. Nww it runs like a top, I have big plans for her but as for right now she's just a farm truck/ daily driver. -doing a 4/5 drop -rally 15/8 and 15/10 out back -steel cowl hood scoop, sport rear bumper and sport side mirrors -350/350 shift kit, positrac -paint will be a suprise... I hope to have something completely different than anyone else but still has that simple clean look. should be sweet. that's it for now! let the good times roll.. |

It's good to hear you have a plan of attack for building your truck . Sounds like your well on your way with the new brakes .

Re: New from Orlando, FL
absolutely.. she's gonna be a driver. I've had a beauty queen before and it's fun but not as fun as being able to fix'er while I drive her.
Had an 03 harley ed f150 and an 83 el camino prior to that. the elky was a driver also. good to be back to that. I will post some pics of it stock and start a build thread next week. I'm going to my dad's house where he has a lift so I can easily do the suspension. Until My gf chooses what convertible she wants the truck is my daily driver which I'm cool with for now... |
