the relay on my 1987 gmc is making a staticy or clicking noise when the truck is running i changed it and it still makes the noise. the auto parts store told me the relay works the ac and other componets but they didnt know what other componets. any one know why its making this noise. the relay is located on the driver side fender by the fire wall

Does the AC clutch cycle the same time the relay clicks?

No the wire on ac compressor is unpluged
