Need help with engine code
I have a 69 GMC C20 and am trying to figure out which engine I have and if it is the original. I took this picture of the plate in front of the passenger side cylinder head. I cleaned off the grease as best as I could, but it has a bad stamp as you can see. Is there supposed to be a partial VIN on here somewhere? The VIN for the truck is CE20DZA-etc. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Update: Casting number from bell housing is 3951511.

no vin partial or oterwise is stamped on engine// did a quick google and that engine appears to b a 265hp 400ciSBC not original to truck as that was 70-73engine 4bolt main heavy duty truck
