Install Chevy Magnum 454 in 1984 C!O

Guy's

I'm considering buying a Magnum 454 with low mileage for a decent price. I've checked the posts and couldn't find anything related to installing marine engine into a C10 pickup. What modifications would have to made and what engine parts would have to be changed or modified? Flex plate, Motor mounts, water pump, oil pan etc.... to install this engine in my 1984 C10? I need all the knowledge I can get on this engine swap before I buy the engine.

Thanks in advance

the marine engines are an easy install;you will need the automotive flex plate, water pump and acc brackets.motor mounts etc
some marine engines had an extra large oilpan;again you just need the automotive one

The marine engines are a non emmission control type and work well....

Thanks 80SPORT

I was hoping for a direct fit without any required changes of the bolt-on parts, sounds like this will be an easy installation, but its going to cost me a couple extra dollars in bolt-on parts. According to the seller the engine is complete with all accessories , except the carb. Is there anything else you can tell me about the Magnum 454? The seller told me there were some engine work done and a the machine shop calculated the engine is rated at 450+ HP

Thanks again
