power steering pump bracket - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 69 C10 with a 350 sbc and a short water pump. I need to find a factory power steering pump bracket that will allow my pulleys to line up. I am using a 3 groove pulley on the crank. I bought an aftermarket one from jegs but it doesnt line up. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Post a picture of what you have now..... I'm willing to bet you just need another pulley.

I'm in the same shape, thought about going to a serpintine setup [I have several laying around] my problem is I have no holes in my heads as I have a 327 form I belive to be a 68 but was told that it is a crate motor. I bought this truck from the local school dist [70 swb] and the bus shop super drove it and had a stack of 327's in crates to replace motors in the buses when they went out. About two years before he retired he had the bus shop put in the last of the crate stack they had leaving me the truck with supposedly only a couple thousand miles on it

If you can share what bracket your using this will ensure your not chasing the wrong part. I went through a lot with my PS and can help.

Allen Grove, if you aren't doing a factory restore. Awesome products, made in us, good ol kansas! Picked on up for my short pump and worked like a charm!

My advice would be to find a stock, unmolested setup from a 67-72 truck that somebody is parting and get both the crank and water pump pulleys. If you think your alternator bracket and PS pump are wrong get those too while you can.
I never could get stuff to line up until I did that.
The parts board here is a good source for a matching set.
