Vacuum Line Help
I have a vacuum line coming out of the firewall near the airbox, that has never been connected since I've owned the truck. It is a solid black line that goes into the same place as the antenna wire, and the grey/black a/c vac line. I currently have the line plugged, as it is under vacuum when running(Ok, I take that back....I thought it had vacuum, but haven't messed with it for a while, and just checked, and it didn't have any vac). Pics:
Under the dash, above the heater box: At the firewall next to the airbox: Any ideas where this is supposed to go?

Re: Vacuum Line Help
You need to hook that back up.

Re: Vacuum Line Help
Ok, so I found the other end. Plugs into a tee above the gas pedal:

Re: Vacuum Line Help
Im assuming you have an a/c truck. hook that back up to manifold vaccume and pull your lever to max a/c even if you pulled your a/c out this will make the blower motor and controls work

Part of what I don't get is....both in the engine bay, and the cab...I can't seem to find any connection where a vac line should be and is missing.

Re: Vacuum Line Help
yes they will still work but it allows the motor to spin faster, it doesnt connect to carb or anything like that, if you pulled the engine or did away with all emisions equipment then its original spot is gone, i just have mine teed off my vac advance
