Steel wheel advice needed

Ok I am looking to use steel wheels on my 63. Originally I wanted to use the white dog dishes that came with the truck but with a wider wheel. I am planning on using a dropped spindle with 6 lug discs. I have seen on some other posts that the 15x8 rallies rub in the front if the truck is lowered but a lot of people seem to use them, is that the case? Also what back spacing do I need if I choose to order or buy a steel wheel? It seems a wider wheel would work on the rear maybe up to 10" and maybe a 7" would be good on the front. What have you guys found out and what do you recommend? Thanks in advance

If you're wanting to run OE 15" steelies w/the poverty/dog-dish caps & are already swapping to front disc brakes, I would consider swapping to 5-lug wheels too. It's very easy to find the 5-lug front wheels as 15x6.5" plain steel wheels came on a bunch of trucks and/or full size GM cars w/the full hub caps.

The rears can be found aftermarket in 8" or 10" widths. I'm not 100% sure, but I would imagine they're available in either 5 or 6 lug.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
