I'm lookin for some part time work in a body shop somewhere in the DFW area. I'm tryin to get into the hobby and will do what it takes to learn. would also like to earn some extra cash...or even maybe a place to work on my truck. Let me know. I can work after 430 on weekdays and on weekends after around noon.

Chevyguy,
If you can't find anything part time and you are just looking for some hands on experience, you might try your local Junior College. I know that in Tarrant County, there is a non-credit class called Auto Restoration that meets 2 nights a week, 4 hours a night for 6 weeks. Cost is ~$159. You get to use all their tools (welders, plasma cutters, frame table, blasting cabinet, paint booth and guns, air tools, etc) and the instructor is there to help out, if needed. I have taken it a couple of times and the first night he tells you that if you don't have a project to work on, you are probably in the wrong class! Worth a try-won't help with the extra cash though. Good Luck, Kent
