Temp Guage ???

Ok i just got done changing out the printed circuit for my 72.
and now when the truck is off the temp gauge goes all the way over to the right hand side making it look like its wayyyyy too hot. but when i turn the truck back on it goes to where it should be.


my question is do your guys temp guage do the same thing???

kinda strange, does this happen instantly after the key is off, or does it do it gradually...??? I know that if you ground the sender wire it will instantly max the needle as you describe, but haven't seen where it does it after the key is off...???
