chevy truck 55 wiper kit...

Hello,

My name is sylvain and lives in France.
I just bought a 55 chevy truck in Los Angeles, the vehicle will arrive normally the month of January ...
I have noticed on the pickup that there was no system wiper because the previous owner wanted to make a rod ... and it rarely rains in California! This is not the case in France !...
Do you know where I can get a complete kit for this vehicle?
the switch to the motor and the arm to operate the wiper.
Thanking you in advance
best regards

sylvain

Re: chevy truck 55 wiper kit...

I believe TF Chevys has electic as an option, vaccum was standard. Electric was standard on GMC's (thats were I got mine). There have been threads on adapting back window wipers to work, I adapted a 62 pickup one in the 80's. Aftermarket guys sell electric kits, but being cheap I always try and figure it out on my own. I think one of the members is selling a kit with the stuff he made to adapt the back window one. I believe the arms were the same for vacuum or electric. The wiper arms for the windshield are available from vendors. The bezels that hold the regulator to the cab are unique to TF, not reproduced, but shown up on ebay on a regular basis.
