Def, gloss as flat seems to be a huge pita. Your truck, your choice.

Re: Flat or Gloss

My vote would be gloss, My paint on my front wheels came out semi gloss/satin black and even when they are clean they look dirty.

Re: Flat or Gloss

If you don't want the shine look, go with semi gloss. This will give a satin sheen that won't chalk or stain. Never use flat black on anything besides your Ol Smokey.

Re: Flat or Gloss

I would get a little creative, semi-gloss black with a red pin stripe to match the color of the cab.

Gloss, looks better, stays cleaner, and you don't look like eveyone else with flat dirty wheels.

All over the place. Prolly could find some in a junk yard, too.

I'm prolly gonna do silver steelies, late model center caps, and beauty rings on my crew cab. I love the look, I really wish Chevy made eight lug truck style rally wheels. That would be the tits set up for me!

On it rim where a beauty ring would sit, you would do a double pin strip in red to match the cab.

Re: Flat or Gloss

Thanks for everything people after much thinking i went ahead and took a wire wheel to them and then hand sanded them down these are just winter tires 8:75 16.s they will be good in the snow the rims did not turn out the way i wanted them too tho they were a little rough after i sanded them so i decided to paint them flat black so it dont stand out as much i bought chrome american raching wheels for the summer i am going to use the center caps for them tires too.
