1937?? school bus
I saw this old bus the other day and was wondering if anyone has ever seen one like it. It is rough but I hate to see something like this get hauled for scrap. I think it is a '37 but not sure. It has been parked for a very long time. haha

Re: 1937?? school bus
That would be a neat Chevy to bring back. You rarely ever see a bus this old any more. I found a Reo bus almost that old recently, but haven't seen one around from the '30s since I was a kid.
Here are some late '30s/early '40s buses:

That thing is neat, I have always liked those 37 front ends.

301247 - I had your thread subscribed on the other truck board. Glad you found your way over here. Project is looking good.
I love old buses. I think they make cool rods. Save that one in the woods if you can!

Re: 1937?? school bus
I dont know what kind it is. I have not looked at it very close. It should have a tag on it somewhere. The truck still has its serial number plate on it under the hood, but I will have to go back to see if there is one on the body. I'm still trying to get the guy to get rid of it. He has been using it to store car parts in for years.
It has 3 side windows, not a very long bus. All of the windows rolled up and down like the window on a car for ventilation. Look how the rear wheel cutouts are made. It looks like a teardrop style that a car would have. |

Re: 1937?? school bus
I saw this bus converted to mini motor home for the first time back in 2009, and a few times since. I am thinking it is a 37 Thomas Bros? It is now perched on a 1 ton Dodge chassis with a Cummings diesel. the side stacks are just for show....
( the truck in the background belongs to member Imperial Kustom)
