Is this a factory style auxiliary battery tray???

I just picked up a truck yesterday that had this auxiliary battery tray. The PO said it came with the truck just like this. It's not a listed option on the glovebox spid, but is it worth keeping around? That is, does this look similar enough to the factory version?

from what i was told by some one its bolted oppsite of the right side. i like to find more info and see good close up pictures of this auxiliary battery tray
