1965 chevy bbw cummins powered

I copied all this from my thread on the cummins forum. Just thought I'd share It with this forum. I've always liked the old 60-66 chevy body style, and I've always loved diesels, so i thought i'd upgrade my old chevy.. I'm new on this site and just want to say I love reading this forum.... this is a great site full of info... thanks

If you look close you can see how tight it was to get the intercooler in there..I ended up fabbing the 1991 dodge lower rad support together with the 1965 chevy top..

this picture is right after i backed it out of the shop

Very cool swap!! I did not know they had the same wheelbase. Any issues with the doghouse on the fire wall?

The dodge was actually 2 1/2" longer I made out work.had to redo the firewall for exhaust. it was a tight fit.

Thanks

That's cool

I'd love to set my 66 on a newer 1ton GM chassis with a Duramax

Nice work, you got me thinking more about it

What cab mounts did you use and what were your measurements. Excellent job.
