Last I looked, a factory 305 only produced 145hp in 1986. Or is this just California trucks...???

My '85 is said to make 160hp with CA emissions. I looked it up in my resoration pack. A "normal" or federal 305 make 165hp.

I ran my truck with my friends g-tech pro and it ran a mid 15. But that was without cam, headers, ignition. I dont know how accurate those things are tho. All I need is gears and Im thinking low-mid 14's.

Cool, b/c I have pretty much the same set-up. I'm going to run mine for about a month before I take it to the track.

Good idea, because you dont wanna mess up that engine! What gears do you have? I want gears so bad but I have too much other stuff to buy right now.

www.smokemup.com then go to Auto Math, then to HP from MPH, it's always fun to play with that. It's actually pretty damn accurate!
