Brake lights staying on. Weird.
Got my brick registered and drove her around for the first day! I noticed when I got home that the brake lights stayed on, stepped on the brakes and the lights then turned off. Anyone have an idea what could be causing this? Thanks as always guys.

Theres a switch at the very top of your brake peddle. Mines disassembled but I attached a pic of the switch. Id def start there. When the brake peddle is pressed down it looses contact with the switch and turns it on. When the peddle is up it pushes the front of the switch in and the lights turn off. As goofy as it sounds maybe the wire is backwards? Sorry if it doesnt help but its a start.

the switch just need's to be adjuts'd or the return spring on the peddle aint pull'n the peddle all the way back any more. push the peddle down by hand and slowlyb release it.if the lights stay on see how much you can pull the peddle back and if the light's go out , if there's very little movement on the peddle just adjust the switch down till it make's good contact, then check to make sure the lights come on with very little brake applied.
if there's alota movement on the peddle you may need to replace the return spring.

Also, the switch itself is plastic and threaded..I have seen them get bumped enough times to ruin the threads and not stay in place...
