Engine Swap Question

I've got an 81' C10 that originally was a 350 diesel, but was replaced with an Oldsmobile 403. My plans are to replace the 403 with a 6.2 and I was wondering if the 6.2 would bolt up to the transmission or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Engine Swap Question

The 6.2 uses a chevrolet bolt pattern, 403 olds uses a BOP pattern. If your trans has a dual bolt pattern you are good to go, If it's BOP then you're not, then it would be adapter time or change trans. I would think you'd have a 400 behind athe original diesel. Good luck, Ron
