1988 crew cab 4x4 dually $1200.00 in ID.

Hey guys, I was looking at buying a 1988 crew cab dually 4x4 thats located in the Boise, Idaho area. This is not mine!!! It looks like a killer project and I would love to see someone here on the boards grab it up. Its just too far away for me. Its complete, dana 60/14 bolt, 4.56's th400/np205 and the owner said the truck was rust free with a really nice interior. the bad is the tbi 350 is blown. This is still a heck of a deal!! I hope someone here can grab it. The owner was really great to talk too and seems like a pretty stand up guy.

The truck is on Craigslist - mtn home, Id

Just wanted to pass it on!!

That thing should have a D70HD unless it started life as a cc truck. Good deal either way.

Yeah, I'm still debating. He sent me more pics but it would cost me the price of the truck to have it delivered to Tn. I was hoping someone on the board would snatch it up.

That's a good price for a truck with a blown motor?

a rust free crew cab 4x4 with a dana 60, th400/205 for 1200.?? I'd buy 5 of them if they were close by, engine or not. 2000 miles one way is just a smidge to far tho.. Stew_magoo whats your v30 ??

What do you mean? I'm just trying to get a feel for what I paid for mine. I think I got it for good money. It's hard to figure out what these things are worth. It seems a lot of sellers ask the moon for them, but they don't seem to sell for these high prices.

Re: 1988 crew cab 4x4 dually $1200.00 in ID.

A friend that is big into wheeling told me the dually D60 is only worth good money after spending good money converting them to singlewheel?

I have seen a few 4x4 dually locally for around the $2000-2500 range.
I am looking for a good cab, so interested in selling extra parts but was told the dually D60's are almost wortless?

I seen you had a crew in your sig. Just wondering what you had thats all. You see a lot of crew cabs that are quite different in pricing. There are some good deals out there and with the economy the way it is there will probably be alot more coming up. You see the same ol high price ones still for sale, over and over.

1990 bonus cab silverado. Air, cruise, all that fancy stuff. Some dents that ruin the drivers door and the bed is wiped out due to the bumper getting pushed up into the tailgate mount. Drivers rocker is rotted out and a little rot in one cab corner. Needs fuel tanks. Interior is rough. Very solid for a Wisconsin truck of 22 years old. Needs a bunch $100 repairs that can be done in a Saturday afternoon. I'm totally ok with that. I gave $1800 for it. I prolly paid up for it compaired to other one ton/ 3/4 ton trucks of the same age, but being a crew cab box Chevy I was ok with that. The guy selling it was selling it as a 4x4 truck that needs work, and that's what it is. A lot of people see these as super rare, highly desirable trucks and price them like Bentley's.
