Will it fit?

Will a Edlebrock Performer manifold(part # EDL-2101) fit on my 350 SBC? I wanna use it to replace the Torquer II that's on it now and getting a real good deal on it. Here are some details on it-Edlebrock Performer Chevrolet Small Block Intake Manifold, Quadrajet flange & EGR Block. I have a Edlebrock 1406 600 cfm on it.

Re: Will it fit?

The plan is to run Dart heads(part # DRT-127221, summitt racing) with the performer manifold. The heads on the engine now are 305 heads(80-86 era) that are coming off once I get the dart heads and the performer manifold. The block is a standard 350 from the 68-79 era.

Re: Will it fit?

dont worry about EGR, sounds like you dont have it. exhaust gas recirculation, its a emission device that recirciates exhaust gas back into the engine.

This is where you need to decide either quadrajet or elde carb, one is a spread bore the other eldbrock is square bore carb..get the correct manifold/carb.

Re: Will it fit?

IMMA keep the edle 1406 carb to put on it. Will the performer be an improvement over the torker II 5001 that's on it now?

Re: Will it fit?

the Torker II is a single plane manifold and the Edelbrock Performer is a dual plane. A dual plane intake has a lower power band than a single plane. So if your looking for more low end power, this performer will help you in that department.

Torker II power band is 2,500-6,500 rpm

Performers power band is Idle-5,500 rpm

if you have a stock to mild cam you want the performer intake
