71 C30 future repo truck
What I have is a 71 c30 dually I purchased out of Hesperia,ca for $1000 bucks the truck ran fine with the 350/TH400 combo that was in it but I wanted fuel injection so once I got the truck back to san diego I wanted to start look'n for a new power supply but after 4 months of having the truck I get a call from a good friend and somewhere in the call he slips in that he just bought two wrecked silverado SS P/U's(05 & 06) both with less than 60k so for a $1000 bucks I picked up the drivetrain out of the 06 it came with the wiring harness but no computer so I sent the harness off to lt1 wiring out of Erie, pa they sold me the computer programmedit for my build and re did my computer harness so now I'm getting towards the end of this build theres a few items I had to purchase from the boneyard like a electric gas petal thr radiator fan and resevoir and a few other things one done I will be taking off the old flatbed on it and removing the leaf springs and adding a three link and airbags then I will be adding a sneeker style wheel lift tjat I took off another truck this bolts to the frame once its been reinforced I'm getting a diamond plated flat bed but as I build I will be adding new pics and info so until then thanks for checking out my project( I will ad pics once I get to my computer)

Click on the "Go Advanced" button below the text box. Then select the Attachment button (looks like a paper clip". You will then get a pop-up window that will allow you to browse and upload up to 5 pics. You may need to resize your photos if they are too large. You can use Microsoft Picture Manager (installed on most PC's) as an easy way to do it.

Re: 71 C30 future repo truck
So farwhat I've done is pulled out the stock 350/th400 and dropped in the LQ9/4L80e it is a drive by wire and so it starts up with no issues but when I give it gas there's acceleration but as I give the petal its first step before I'm able to floor it the throttle dies I mean the truck stays running but I loose acceleration so after trying to figure it out week end and week out I said forget tn is and decided to get rid of the drive by wire (electronic pedal) and go with a throttle cable and original gas pedal so I called Tom from Lt1 wiring or electric wiring.com out of Erie, Pa and told him my issue and he said send me the pcm & I'll have another one recalibrated with your correct specs and also have ready for you the correct pigtails for the new throttle so I was like cooh, Tom has done all my work in the past and was easy to deal with. I sent him my stuff 22apr2013 and spoke with him once this stuff arrive I went over with him everything from engine size and tranny to tire size and gear ratio and other important details pertaining to the build and after that all communication has stop he won't answer my calls, emails or nothing so about two weeks ago I get a email on a invoice for the $15 I owe him for shipping it back I pay it threw paypal on the 10th of may so i've been calling and emailing this guy but no response so I'll give him another week before I just chalk it up and find myself another pcm.
