Interior paint help for my 63

I am getting the interior of my 63 C10 ready to repaint and wondered what color it should be and where you guys got your paint to match. According to TCP globals site 63 had an interior color of medium fawn but elsewhere I see light fawn as well. Part of the issue is there are no paint chips to compare what these colors look like and I can't find any info on my truck so if you have pics of your interior in light or medium fawn that would be great. Also what did you end up using gloss? semi? or flat. Thanks

Hal

I dont know the paint color, but there are some threads on here that have it identified. I just remember sanding the inside of my cab and it was not fun.

Yea, not really looking forward to the sanding as well! The whole cab is a nightmare really, a lot of hand sanding for sure! I did some search work but didn't see any paint chips or pics identifying colors of fawn met. I guess the light fawn vs medium fawn has me wondering.

I know from reading some threads that the color varied slightly from year to year and I think in '66 they mite have done two colors. I'm going from memory as none of my trucks has a stock interior. Somebody will chime in with a link to an earlier thread, hopefully.

http://www.stovebolt.com/ubbthreads/...gonew=1#UNREAD

Krylon substitute
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=482704

Rattle Cans very close:
Krylon Champagne Nouveau Satin "Brushed Metallic" (Closest I've found for fawn)
Dupli-Color Light Champagne Metallic (Chrysler - also a good match for fawn)
Krylon Caramel Latte Satin "Brushed Metallic" (Not as close as the Champagne for fawn)

The PPG # if you are spraying it are in the 1st thread above
