power window is kicking my arse. tried everything
ive waited as long as possible before i started a new thread because of the massive amount of previous power window threads, but i'm at my wits end with the go$&!mn window. the window wasnt moving when i got the truck, so i assumed it was the motor. while i had the door apart, i installed all new weatherstripping including the vent window, a new regulator, and motor. Upon getting everything put back together the window would only roll up 1/4 of the way. first i tried adjusting the rear track with no luck, then i check for voltage drop, there was a little so i added new relays to the circuit. after adding the relays and sraying 15 cans of dry-lube on the tracks, it'll go up a little over half-way on its own. any other suggestions will be extremely appreciated

Re: power window is kicking my arse. tried everything
Give us some background....
Year? The door glass... how thick is it? the later years glass were a bit thinner than the older ones thusly the weatherstrip was a bit thicker. Therefore if you've got older glass with neawer style glass run(weatherstrip) it is going to bind
