WIW 1972 Blazer
Here is a blazer I've been looking at for over a month now just want to get your opinion. I really want a 2wd not having much luck in my price range in decent shape. Let me know what you think.

Re: WIW 1972 Blazer
In my experience, you wont be happy settling for something your heart is not into. Id wait to cross paths with what you really want, even if you have to piece it together (Frame/drivetrain, tub etc) a little at a time over the next year or so to stay within budget. Have some patience, itll come along.

I agree with viking, but that blazer looks good. Can't say what it's worth without more info. Is it running, what engine does it have and so forth.

Re: WIW 1972 Blazer
From the pictures, I purchased a similar/decent running 72 4x4 blazer. 4sp/205 from the same area back in 2006. He asked 2500.00 - I paid 2100.00. Drug it back to FL, freshened up the motor/ resealed the drivetrain, cleaned up the interior. Its my daily driver. Fun to drive the stick with a quick motor. Go for it, you can resell if you don't like it...

Thats not a bad price for a running Blazer in that shape, I would get and have fun just like David said.

Re: WIW 1972 Blazer
I don't think the price is out of line if it runs and drives good. Look at the top corners of the windshield carefully. If the floor is gone at the kickboard, there was probably water running down the windshield post. It will need rockers and floor work and maybe some bottom a pillar work. How are the rear floor, tail gate, torque boxes? The bottom line is these trucks, when restored right, have a good value, and in my mind, hold the highest value of any of our 67-72 trucks. If it is basically solid, I'd go for it.
