waxed the 72, old paints alive!
so after my son decided he wanted to keep putting his money (dad's money) into the interior, stereo and more motor mods and not on a new paint job we started getting the truck ready to put the molding back on. So I decided to go ahead and see what some wax would do to the original paint. Of course the hood is the worst with faded oxidized paint. Well after one coat of oxidize removeal and wax, here is what we seen. I know the entire truck is not perfect but with a good wax job it will look 2X better than it does now. At least until we can paint it in a year or so. I will post pic of the sides when we finish. Darn kids and their ear for loud music and fast cars...LOL Like father like son
