wiper problem

hey there guys just bough a 72 cheyenne super and the wipers dont seem to be working right lol they wont shut off in the right spot (in the down postion ) they stay pointing up does any one no if thats in the motor or is it some other problem i have changed the switch and made sure the ground is all good
