6 cylinder Tach
While in the process of putting my project truck back together I was adding the tach I took out of a truck I bought back a few months ago. As I was getting ready to install into the stock dash panel I noticed that it is stamped on the back "6 CYL". Can it still be used or do I need to sell it and hunt down a 8 cylinder tach?

Re: 6 cylinder Tach
Those are hard to come by. You show have no trouble selling it and getting enough money to buy a nice 8 cylinder tach for yourself.

Re: 6 cylinder Tach
Yah i got a tach for my chevelle last summer and it was set on 6 cylinder with choices of that and 8 and i didnt notice it until i saw the super high rpms. It is definitely different and you will need an 8 cylinder one.
