Power steering/brakes problem
I have now got my 1980 C30 on the road but no matter how tight the power steering belt is , it still slips - its a new belt. My truck has power steering and power brakes both driven off the same pump. Should it have a high volume/pressure pump? This just looks like any standard pump.
It also squeels alot on full lock. Any ideas? |

Re: Power steering/brakes problem
Sounds like a hydroboost set-up. I don't know the testing procedures, but my PS pump going out exhibited the same symptoms.

Re: Power steering/brakes problem
Only has straight 6 engine. Also will squeel when stamping on the brakes.Might try another pump then.
