73-75 console pics wanted

I recently purchased some factory low back buckets and am in the process of refurbishing the console. I am missing the latch assembly. I was wondering if any of you have any photos of this assembly I also want photos of the bowtie on the lid of the console. I am repainting the entire thing. My console setup was originally blue and i am not happy with how they painted it. I will post a rebuild thread when I am complete. Thanks guys.

That isn't a 73-75 console...its a late 70's console. Cup holder consoles went into production when 3 point belts became standard...lap belt trucks had two slots to hold the belts in place wen not in use.

Re: 73-75 console pics wanted

Thanks for the info Jeff. I knew the seats were early 70s. That's kinda why I wanted some photos. Did they change to these consoles in 77?

77 was a transition year...you could get both low and high backs, depending on when the vehicle was built. I believe 77 was the first cupholder console year too, may have been 76...I can't remember.

I like those map pockets with the flap that closes them in your second pic!

Do you have those in your jimmy/blazer right now?
