PS Hoses
It's probably been addressed before but, I'm running a '92 serpentine set up on my '68. What do I need in way of power steering hoses? Will I have to get them special made or will something out there work? Thanks.

Re: PS Hoses
The serpentine pumps use an o-ring fitting for the hose that's screwed into the pump. Older pumps use an inverted flare fitting. Assuming you want to use 68 hoses, get an inverted flare fitting and replace the o-ring fitting.

Re: PS Hoses
The pressure hose screws into a large(1 1/8 IIRC) fitting on the back of the pump.I removed it and put the one with proper fitting threads in it.The routing of the hoses sucks (original later model hoses) until I can get some made but it works.

Re: PS Hoses
I guess I should have mentioned too that currently I only have the set of hoses off of the '92. I don't want to use them because they have this extra line that ran back up into the frame rails for cooling I guess. So, whatever it is, I'll have to buy.
