Re: looking to airbag my 69 burb

There are a lot of factors involved. How low do you want to go? Coil or leaf spring rear? Are you doing the work yourself and how much work are you willing to do?

My first bagged truck was a '69 long bed with trailing arms. I did a drop spindle disc front, replaced the coils with bags, ran 8 valves and had a single tank and compressor. No kit, I pieced most everything together. It took me about 2 weeks to do and was about $1500 including the disc conversion.

If you want an informative response, you should do some research first. This forum has tons of information that will be insightful in getting you a basic understanding of air suspension.

We need to know how low you want to go. We need to know what your budget might be. Will you install the system, or have it done for you? Help us help you by asking more informed questions.
