Gas tank sealer question
I am trying to install the liquid sealer in my gas tank. I have flushed it, degreased it and flushed it again. My problem is no mater what I do and how long I let it sit I can't get all the water out of it. The instructions say if there is water in in the sealer will no stick and will flake off in sheets. Heck I have even tried a heat gun, but there still seams to be moisture in it. Do I really need to get this bone dry or can it have a little moisture??

Re: Gas tank sealer question
I used the POR system on my Vette's tank in 2009. For drying, this is the setup I used. Small electric space heater, a fan, and a funnel. Blowing warm air thru the tank for at least 24 hrs will dry it out. I used what I had on hand. Just an idea for you to consider.
