Fuel Line Fitting

I need a little help with the inverted flare fuel line fitting. The little gasket that went on that fitting is toast (between carb and fitting). I also need a new inlet fitting. Truck is a 65 c20, 283, with I presume the stock rochester carb on it.

So the questions are:
  1. If I get the inverted flare fitting, or more importantly, what are the dims I need - similarly what are the dims that I need to be aware of for the hardline that runs out of the inverted flare.
  2. Where can I get that gasket (I think it is a 7/8 but am not sure) and what exactly am I looking/asking for - aside from it being supplied with the inverted flare.
  3. Lastly what other options are there besides the stock inverted flare with hardline - any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any help. I know the questions are pretty rudimentary but any help is appreciated (and I really don't want to take it off yet again to measure, and order 3 of the wrong things before I get it right).

Re: Fuel Line Fitting

I used a 5/16 inverted flare fitting on mine made for an auto trans w/barb on the other end....got it from summit for like 4.99. I had trouble finding the larger gasket that goes directly into the carb myself, found an old one on another carb I had. Then I got rid of the hard line and ran rubber in place. ( I wanted a fuel pressure guage and filter inline).
