Crazy 4 link bag setup?
Haven't been around since I sold off Pixie hope you are all doing well. I remember seeing a thread with a bag set up, beautifully welded in a sort of teeter totter design. There was also a pick of an upper member that was curved and had cool pointy pieces on the ends. Please help. Thanx

Re: Crazy 4 link bag setup?
Maybe the teeter-totter design you're posting about is my cantilever design?
I still have a lot of work to do on it, but it's on hiatus until I finish my '64 shop truck. I don't like having two major projects going on at one time.

Re: Crazy 4 link bag setup?
I'm a sick man.......I've been working on military aircraft for the last 30 years (8 years Air Force, 22 years as a defense contractor building advanced prototypes), and it has ruined me. I can't take full credit for my suspension. I got together with a buddy (Mike Jones, www.exilefabrications.com), who builds some of the most amazing off-road race vehicles I have ever seen, and I told him what I was envisioning, and then turned him loose. There were a lot of variables to account for, like the fact that I had a narrowed rear end, a stepside bed, and the fact that I wanted the bags as far outboard as possible for stability. There is still a lot of work to do. I still need to build a fuel tank, air tanks, compressor mounts, battery mount, valve manifolds, all the hard lines, just to name a few. Unfortunately, the suspension turned out so nice that everything else I do has to be on the same level or better.
