? about later model wheels

A guy that i work with just bought himself a 2000 tahoe and of course he had to go put what in my opinion are some ridiculous looking 22" dub wheels on it or whatever you want to call them, anywho i noticed they where six lugs and asked him if he was interested in selling the stock aluminum wheels he said he had to talk to his wife but i offered him $175 for the wheels and tires being as the 2 tires that where on the rear where considerably lower tread and the wheels had a little bit of road rash on them but nothing bad. Do you guys think that i offered a fair deal. I am not sure if i am going to keep them or sell them but i figured what the hey. and they should fit my truck shouldnt if mine is a six lug as well

Re: ? about later model wheels

From what I have read on here, they fit but require spacers. If they are stockers from a 2000 you are about right on price. There are a ton on Craigslist.

Something to check on would be the hub registry size..you may find the center hole to be too small for your truck..
If they fit ,I say screamin' deal!

Re: ? about later model wheels

I second '63's response. Centerbore will be too small by roughly .25'' and the backspacing may be too deep for the rear depending on the width of the rim/tire combo.
