Selling this complete 400 small block chevy motor. The engine is balanced with new KB pistons 30 over and 5'7 rods
the heads are 2.02 s with ss ferrea valves new guides and all arp bolts, roller rockers. the block is a 509 casting block and has a comp cam.
also comes with a new 770 holley carb wirg a air gap intake. unilite dist. This was for my project truck but I am going to go with a big block.

To help you out, do you have any build info/documentation that you could post with it? Can it run on pump gas? 89 octane? Also, this will fit other Chevy type vehicles...

I built to run on pump gas. Its a generation 1 (509 block) 400 and it will fit all truck with a sbc motor. benched hp to about 400 to 425 hp. everything has been done to this motor new everything. thanks Rick

What type of crank does it have and does come with the flywheel?

509 casting blocks are all 2 bolt mains. Its the block all the sprint car guys use. It has a chevy crank that was balanced by Precision Grinding in Redding ca. No it doesn't come with a flywheel.

Yep -- what I was thinking. That's a hot little motor. 406ci ? I had one in a Firebird once with 3:08's in it. I swear if that car had wings it would fly. So incredibly fast on top end. If I had the cash, I'd buy it. That's a heck of a deal. 882 heads with 2.02's ?

I have some nice flywheels around here I will let go for like 30 bucks shipped.... I believe 168 tooth.....
