V6 from 1967 GMC

I have in my possession a 1967 GMC V6 i've been told its a 305 and has a PO installed power steering set up on it.

ENgine is complete with Transmission 3 speed manual attached.

Air cleaner to engine mounts (which are not good). ENgine turns over by hand. Have no idea if it actually runs.

ENgine will only be sold complete. if not sold in a few weeks it will be added to the scrap load on my trailer.

Asking 200 OBO I do not want to throw this away and will work with you.

Located near College Station TX.

Regards,
Thomas

Re: V6 from 1967 GMC

Thomas, if it doesn't sell, I'd like some parts off of it.

Please put me in line for the;

1. spin-on oil filter unit
2. power steering bracket and double-groove pulley

Just in case my shipping zip is 91709 SoCalif, Thanks Henry

Re: V6 from 1967 GMC

I really dont want to part anything off the engine right now and it would take a lot for me to change my mind on this. Right now my interest is in clearing space in the barn.

If I do decide to change that I'll let you know. Too early right now in the process.

Re: V6 from 1967 GMC

I am interested in picking up that motor complete. I have a 62 GMC, and I'm wanting to have a spare motor to rebuild and install later on so there is no downtime on my truck. I'm in San Antonio, so it's only about 3 hours away. $200 is a fair price, I'll come with cash. I'm trying to arrange to come this Sunday(1-22-12), will you be free during the day Sunday? We can communicate more by phone 210-827-4282, David. Thanks

Re: V6 from 1967 GMC

If you can drag it to Austin I will buy it for sure, I can see from the pictures that it is rough, but I plan on doing a complete rebuild, so it's not a deal breaker at all. We just have to figure out a way to get it into the bed of my truck and we are good to go.

THe engine is now in Austin. I can be avaliable Saturday afternoon or SUnday for you to pick it up. I'm making a scrap run on Monday. Just giving fair warning that it will be on the scrap trailer if not purchased this weekend.

I'll pull the oil filter and strip some of it down before I do and sell the parts but it will be gone.

Looking forward to hearing from you. YOu can call me at the number I called you from earlier today. Looking forward to meeting you.

Thomas

No, I was only stating what would happen if we didnt get together this weekend. I cant keep it here long. Tryign to get rid of things at the farm. So it was not ever going back. One way or another it goes away this weekend.

Looking forward to selling it to someone that can use it over the scrap yard though.

Thanks.
