Slow Windshield Wipers, Help!

I bought a new 86 chevy, and the windshield wipers are SLOW, even when switched on high... Can someone tell me how you fix this??

It may be possible that your switch may not be turning on the highs or a ground issue may be present

There is. Ground strap on the wiper motor itself, if you have an alligator clip you can ground it to the motor and if there is a change then you have your culprit. What year truck do you have?

Ok same year as mine well I just replaced the wiper switch in mine since the old one had moisture damage on the contacts

Why are my windows rolling down so slow???

I have an 86 that has power windows. When I roll them down they move SO SLOW! What could be the problem?

it could be worn out brushes in the motors
or corrosion in the switches
or mechanically binding

Mine were like that, the colder it got the slower they moved. The motors in mine were shot. Put new motors in and lubed the tracks.....good as new now.
