Chevy Custom
I was wondering why some 62-66 pickups come with the "Custom" trim on the sides behind the doors? What does "Custom" mean? Also was there interior options? I have noticed some trucks are body colored inside and some have biege / tan color( whats the name of that color?). I am on a severe leaning curve with these 62-66 trucks and i am glad i found this site so i can learn a thing or 2.

Re: Chevy Custom
Custom was the upgrade for the trucks, normally came with the trim package that you talk about, as well as chrome grill, and bumpers and hubcaps. Two tone fawn/white interior was also part of the custom option. There are a whole series of custom options that could be added as well.....factory guages, interior mirror, pass side mirror and sunvisor, clock, compass, spotlights, different heater options, power drum brakes, ac, litter container, tach, vacuum guage, grill guard & bumpers...just to name a few off top. Aerotruck probably has the most literature on this that I know of.
