in case you're not aware of it, the advance auto website has been offering some pretty good deals with the use of promo codes. you can use them multiple times as long as you check out as a guest. i've saved some major cash recently using these...

P20 - 20%off your enire purchase
BIG30 - $30 off when you spend $100
VISA - $30 off of $100, $20 off of $50, $10 off of $25

i don't shop advance autoparts any more had a bad time in returning some parts. they didn't want to work wtih me on returning some parts that i bought from them. so o'reiliys gets my buisness that or napa.

i guess it probably differs location to location, the guys at my nearby advance are pretty awesome. theyve taken back everything i've ever brought to them...however, napa will always be the better parts house.

I use the Advance because I get better service.I pass a NAPA to get there but the NAPA people(3 of the 5 are female) don't act like they care if you buy from them or not unless you're a shop buying over $5,000 a month.The Advance guys take care of me or send me back to the commercall reps since they seldom know older stuff and the CR's are Car nuts and have taken care of me since I started trading there whan they were at the front counter.
In Atlanta,I used a Car Quest for the same reason,so I usually go with the service since the price seems to even out over time.

Thanks. I may go buy some oil. In my opinion places like Auto Zone, Advance Auto and the like are just for buying oil, gaskets, & spary lubes. Have had FAR too many bad experiences with inferior Asian made parts (starters, alternators, etc ...) from them.
