??? about the driveshaft
I have a 72 burb c/20 that i bagged and someone told me that they had problems with the driveshaft breaking on or around the carrier bearing.(i think that's what you call it) if so, how do you fix the problem if any exists. if i put a slip yoke on the driveshaft will it relieve the pressure of the truck being slammed?

Re: ??? about the driveshaft
My Suburban had been lowered before I bought it. The 2 piece drive shaft had been changed out to a 1 piece alumunium drive shaft. They also enlarged the opening where the carrier bearging is mounted with a torch to allow room for the driveshaft to move up and down as the truck was raised and lowered. I took all this off and went back to a stock setup. I don't have any of it left since I threw it away.
