My new (to me) truck
Hey guys,
With a bit of help from a few members I was able to hammer out the last few carb problems I was having. I thought I'd shoot up a picture of my new project. I guess this means my V8 Vega is on the back burner for a little bit. The truck is a '69 frame with a '72 Cheyenne Super cab. It has a tilt-wheel and air conditioning. My dad sold it to me for $4500. The motor is pretty tired but clean. He already put a set of 2.5" Early Classic spindles up front and converted it to disc brakes. Most of the body work is done and he cut in the paint between the cab and bed. It also has a set of bucket seats and console. So, which way should I go? The factory '72 Cheyenne Super color was two-tone Ochre and White. I was thinking either stick with that or go with a dark gray and white combo. The truck isn't necessarily a restore-to-stock project but more of a daily driver with a stock look. Plans are for a set of 20" or 22" wheels and a static drop. Anyway, enough talk. Here it is.
