Finally after about a year I fired up my 66 today

this is just after the cam was broken in.

motor is a 355ci sbc, vortec heads, comp xe268H cam, with 2.5" flowmaster delta flow 40s. I never like these mufflers too much drone in the cab, plus they are too deep sounding. I have some hooker aerochambers to install on the old truck. All my other hot rods had them and they sounded great.

I'll add some more videos and photos later

Sounds great

I've been thinking of either Magnaflows or the Aerochambers on my Suburban. They both flow better than Flowmasters.

Yeah I hear ya. A friend of mine was going to give me some magnas but I never received them so I bought the aerochembers

Jocko, that photo was from a week ago. I have a powermaster alternator on the motor now. Been too busy trying to get all the little stuff done, than taking more photos. I will soon though.

right now my rocker arms are hitting the valve covers just a little. While a work today I'm going to try to fix that problem. first I thought it was the valve themselves making the noise. I was scared there for a bit
