Anyone running Porterbuilt stage 1 front/rear Bag kits have Pictures

As much as I try to talk myself out of it, I'm thinking of bagging my truck but I'll be keeping my stock front crossmember and control arms and rear trailing arms. Just wanted to see if anybody was running the stage 1 kits so I could see how the trucks layout. I'm not looking to lay frame but would still like for it to lay out nice with the stock components.

What do yo mean when you say "lay out nice". The stage 1 kit will get you lower, but it may not set the control arms on the ground. Tire size and spindle height will play a role.

Sorry I should have clarified, I didn't mean lay frame as I'm not interested in that anyway. I was just wondering if anybody was running the Stage 1 kits and had any pictures of their trucks aired out. Just wanted to see how it sat. I want my truck to sit similar to the way my 72 did aired out in the picture below. All that truck had was 2.5" Dropped Spindles, Ridetech control arms with Slam Bags in the front and just Slam bags and a C-notch in the rear. It was running 255/35/20's on all 4 tires. Stock Bed Floor and Inner Fenders.

My current truck runs 18's on the front with 245/45/18 tires and 20's on the rear with 295/40/20 tires with 2.5" dropped Spindles in the front and 2" Blocks in the rear with a C-notch. I guess my question is, will running the stock control arms with cups make it sit higher in the front than my 72 did?

It will sit higher than your 72 did... by up to a couple inches. The difference is that the lower bag cups on the stage 1 kit sets the lower bag mount even with the top of the stamped control arm. Our tubular arms set the lower bag mount where the bottom of the factory coil set (a good 1 to 1 1/2 lower). This translates into more drop at the spindle.

You could modify your factory lower arm by recessing the lower bag mount... but it's a lot of work.

Thanks Nate, thats what I wanted to know. Still figuring out what I want to do. I would love to purchase your control arms but that extra $1000+ is not in the budget. Plus I don't know if my Hotchkis front sway bar would work with the Porterbuilt arms. I really don't want to have to buy a new sway bar too.

Al your truck looks awesome, I loved having the bags on my 72 and I really want them on my 68. I might as well pull the trigger, we'll see lol.
