sound like a fair trade??

Ive got a 65 c10 i picked up for 500 bucks. Rusty cab,and fenders. Very straight and has all the og trim in good shape. It is factory 283 3spd truck that runs and drives but will need tuned up and such. Theres a guy local that wants to trade me a 60 chevy cab, eyebrow hood, grille, and grille surround. all in great shape and title for cab. Im really thinkin I should do it. What are you thoughts?

CAGLE;
I'd go for it. So no frame? I have a '61 and Im happy that it doesnt look like every one elses C10, in other words not that many around so its special....

He does have the frame. But he didnt mention it in the deal. Ive got a 64 currently that I put a 350 auto with 84 front and rear end under it. Thought about putting the 60 parts on it. its a long stepper, and both trucks are the same color.......hmm lol

If the 1960 items are close to rust free, I'd go for it. One rusty pile for another not so good, but if the eyebrow hood is in good shape - it alone could be worth as much as the rusty cab you have.

Re: sound like a fair trade??

I recently got a hood for a 62' apache minus the hood inserts(empty holes athe the moment)...now the guy who traded me the hood for a seat wants it back LOL!!! Ah no thanks....I like the uniqueness of it, just has a rust hole on one side of it but other than that it's straight with minimal surface rust.....

P.S. How much you think a hood could go for that fits a 1960-62 apache/C10?
